About Me
Hello, I’m Martha
I am a Level 4 qualified personal trainer with certifications in Pilates, Animal Flow and Nutrition for weight management.
I take pride on creating a non-judgmental, encouraging environment where clients feel at ease from the start, helping them reach their fitness goals at a sustainable pace.
I thrive in one-to-one coaching, sharing knowledge and listening to each client’s unique needs. I’m also skilled in class dynamics and can help transition between group classes and one-on-one sessions. My focus is on strength training and optimising movement patterns for simple yet effective sessions that get results. I aim to choose exercises that not only improve body composition but also enhance mobility and counteract sedentary lifestyles. It’s not about tough workouts alone; it’s about making clients feel challenged, cared for, and eager to return.
My past experiences with mental health challenges have shaped my belief that exercise is not just for aesthetics, but for emotional wellbeing. I believe consistent movement promotes happiness, and that exercise is about embracing challenges and celebrating what our bodies are capable of. I’m passionate about adventure, cycling, running, and living in alignment with our design. Having experienced bereavement in my early 20s, I’m committed to making the most of things. We have one life, and I want to live it well – taking on challenges, building a strong body, growing a strong business, and maintaining a calm, stress-free mind.
Small, daily steps lead to lifelong habits, supporting both mental and physical well-being. I focus on the basics – adequate sleep, minimal screen time, daylight, good food, and daily movement. Exercise isn’t something you ‘have to do’; it’s a celebration of the incredible capabilities of our mind and body. We ‘get to’ do it.
